2. What are the defects in making special-shaped springs?

1. Because the die core is a complex surface, the guide surface is machined after the casting is formed, resulting in a gap error after the production processing surface and the guide surface of the concave die are slidingly matched. This occurs during the entire normal operation of the mold. The pressing core swings left/right.

2. The design plan for the guide length of the pressing core is 125 mm, and the actual guide length is 100 mm. Although within the scope of the design plan, there is a holding part of 110 mm, and the movement exceeds the reasonable guide length by 9 mm. There is a pressing core support. It is not stable and the parts are not positioned correctly.

3. The forming height of the special-shaped spring up to 100 mm requires a special guide slide for the design plan. It cannot be guided by the sliding gap between the production processing surface and the side wall of the cavity. The side slope causes the friction to increase, and the actual effect of self-lubrication is extremely poor. The strong lateral force cannot be reasonably eliminated. After mass production, the guide gap will increase due to long-term damage, and all the normal guide effects of the mold will be lost early, which will cause a vicious quality accident.
